MidCity Excellence Community Learning Center

For over 20 years, MidCity Excellence has engaged more than two-thousand youth and adults in it’s free afterschool program for students PK-12th grade. MCE attracts students from 13 schools in it’s initiative to enhance the lives of at-risk youth by offering tutoring, life-long learning skills, and a performing arts academy. Located in St. Joseph’s inner city, our free afterschool program aims to address the root cause of generational poverty, juvenile crime, and poor mental health that often leads to teen suicide, addiction, and risky behavior. The goal of our Fight for the Family initiative is focused on developing the “whole person” into a well-rounded adult!
