Donate to our Suit Drive
Suit Up for Success
We're excited to launch our Suit Drive for Young Professionals—and we need YOUR help!
We’re collecting new or gently used suits, jackets, ties, and tuxedos for young boys and men in our community who are preparing for milestone moments in their lives. Whether it’s for prom, JROTC balls, job interviews, or graduation, your donation can help a young man feel confident, prepared, and proud.
💼 What We’re Looking For:
- Suits & tuxedos (all sizes, clean & in good condition)
- Dress jackets & blazers
- Ties (regular & bow ties)
- Dress shirts (optional but appreciated!)
📍 Why It Matters:
For many young men, affording formalwear for these important events can be a challenge. Your donation could mean someone walks into their first job interview with confidence or steps onto the prom floor feeling like a king.

Donations can be dropped off at 1802-A Union St., St Joseph, MO 64501
🕒 M-F from 9 AM to 5 PM

Who We Are
Our History
Founded in 2001, MidCity Excellence (MCE) offers a free afterschool program for PK-12th graders, serving over 200 youth and adults annually across 13 schools and 9 ethnicities. Located in St. Joseph’s inner city, MCE combats generational poverty, juvenile crime, and poor mental health through ASPE, mentoring, and performing arts. The "Fight for the Family" initiative aims to develop youth into well-rounded, resilient leaders and responsible citizens.
